I am currently pregnant and had my 20 week ultrasound to check the baby's anatomy and my cervical length/cerclage placement(stitch). The baby anatomy is fine. I was told I have some inward funneling (opening) at the top of the cervix. The doctor who discussed the ultrasound with me stated he can see the stitches are still in place and holding well. He advised bed rest and set and appointment for me to return on Jan 28 (24w5d) for another ultrasound to check cervical length. I go to see my regular OBGYN on Jan 3. I have been on bed rest since my cerclage was placed in Nov. I am very worried. I receive the 17p shots (help to prevent labor) once a week. I am scared. 4 years ago I delivered at 22 1/2 weeks (angel baby) due to an infection and cerclage had to be removed immediately. I pray that I deliver a full term healthy baby in May of 2014. I pray that the funneling close on its on and I will not encounter anymore obstacles during my pregnancy. I have found several prayers that I recite when I wake in the morning and before I go to bed at night. Please keep us in your prayers. Thanks in advance.
